USS SOMERS
THE FINAL CHAPTER

The following photos were taken on July 21st, 1998 as part of the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) Naval exercise. The site of the sinking was the Pacific Missle Range Facility, (PMRF) off the coast of Kauai, Hawaii. I would like to give a BIG thanks to Robert Burnz of PMRF for his assistance in getting these photos.

I also have a video available of the Somers. It includes going aboard the Somers at Port Hueneme, California, The Somers being towed from Port Hueneme for the last time, and the sinking. To cover the cost of the video and mailing, I'm asking $6.00. If you would like a copy of the video, drop me an Email and I'll send you my snail mail address.

And now... ON TO THE PHOTOS!
